In the Montessori classroom, the teacher meticulously sets up the environment with thoughtfully chosen and visually pleasing materials, arranged in a specific order to cater to the developmental stages of the children using the space. A properly arranged Montessori setting includes furniture of suitable size, a comprehensive array of Montessori materials, and ample room for children to work independently or collaboratively in peace, whether alone or in various-sized groups.

I'm Poornima Venketraman, happily married for over twenty years with two wonderful children. Despite holding a master's degree in computer science, my deepest passion lies in working with children. My journey as a Montessori guide began a decade ago, working in esteemed Montessori schools in New Jersey. I hold full certification in Montessori Early Childhood (ages 3-6) accredited by MACTE and AMS through Westside Montessori School, New York. Continuously committed to my professional growth, I've undertaken numerous Montessori-aligned courses and conducted a workshop in NJMAC on Scientific Exploration. In my leisure time, I love to explore the world through travel.
